On Integrating Tasks and Voice Support for the Purpose of Mediation Practice in EFL Teaching in Poland in the Post-Method Era
Abstract
In the post-method era of rapidly evolving foreign language teaching and learning environments, the search for appropriate didactic interventions, taking into account the influences not only of currently proposed theories of (language) learning but also of socio-technological transformations and educational policy, is considered essential. Accordingly, in this article, the author refers to a range of theoretical, methodological, political, technological, and demographic factors in order to demonstrate the rationale for implementing voice assistance accessible through assistants such as ChatGPT and Gemini during mediation task performance in the post-reform period at education stages II and III in Poland.
