The scientific journal Ars Iuridica is a successor of the Scientific Journal of Students issued regularly by the Law Students' Scientific Society at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (UMCS) in the period 1998 – 2019. The discontinuity in publishing was caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the negative effect of which affected almost all areas of scholarly activity. Having regard to the years-long tradition of publishing the Scientific Journal of Students, the Faculty of Law and Administration of UMCS has re-launched the journal under new name. The range of areas covered by the Ars Iuridica comprises all the disciplines of legal sciences and interdisciplinary problems as well. The journal is issued twice a year, and special issues may be released in addition to regular ones. The Ars Iuridica publishes scientific papers, commentaries on judicial decisions (glosses), and reports from conferences, both in Polish and English. The journal is published in an electronic form on an open access basis.
