Education as a factor of economy’s innovativeness

Abstract


The scope of this article is to examine connections between different levels of education and the impact of education on people’s creativity and innovativeness of economies. It has been confirmed that high level of school education and a high level of scientific research, as well as strong creativity, promote innovations in the economy. Moreover, it has been confirmed that there is a linkage between high level of school education and creativity. However, the relationship between the level of education (dimensions: reading, mathematics, science), and the level of scientific research appeared to be statisti- cally insignificant.
