Poczucie sensu życia kobiet w wieku średnim w sytuacji pandemii COVID-19. Studium przypadku

Poczucie sensu życia jest podstawową potrzebą człowieka, ujawniającą się w dążeniach i motywacjach ludzkich. Stanowi rezultat rozwoju osoby, wynikający z realizacji określonych działań, wartości i celów życiowych. Konfrontując się z trudnymi wydarzeniami, realizując określone aktywności i dokonując pewnych wyborów, człowiek odkrywa sens własnego życia. Pandemia COVID-19 wywołała strach, poczucie izolacji, niepewności ekonomicznej. Dotychczasowe normalne życie wielu społeczeństw zostało w drastyczny i zarazem niespodziewany sposób zmienione. Sytuacja pandemiczna przyczyniła się do pogorszenia dobrostanu fizycznego i psychicznego. Utrata normalności i żal z powodu trudności w realizacji określonych planów czy zamierzeń mogą przyczynić się do powstania poczucia pustki, utraty sensu życia. Okres średniej dorosłości to czas zwiększonej autonomii, dystansu, autoanalizy, zaangażowań religijnych. W wieku średnim szczególnie istotne zaczyna się stawać pytanie o sens życia i hierarchię wartości. Kryzys wieku średniego i pierwsze bilanse życiowe mogą przyczynić się do wzrostu problemów natury egzystencjalnej (związanych z sensem życia, celami czy wartościami życiowymi). Celem artykułu jest ukazanie źródeł poczucia sensu życia u kobiet w wieku średnim w sytuacji pandemii COVID-19. W niniejszym studium przypadku ukazano znaczenie trzech podstawowych źródeł poczucia sensu, do których zalicza się kreatywność (realizowane aktywności), doświadczenia (poczucie więzi z innymi) oraz nastawienie (pogłębienie praktyk religijnych, odnajdywanie w nich głębszego sensu, innej jakości relacji z Bogiem).
