PhD, Professor at UKEN in Krakow, employee of the Department of Didactics of Polish Literature and Language at the Institute of Polish Philology of the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow. For more than 20 years an active teacher at various levels of education (from primary school to adult education), currently at the Private Academic High School No. 8 of Kraków. Author of three monographs: Przestrzeń aksjologiczna w wybranych podręcznikach gimnazjalnych do kształcenia literacko-kulturowego (1999–2005) (2016), W stronę lektury. Propozycje tekstów do opracowania lekcyjnego dla uczniów szkół podstawowych oraz gimnazjów (2017), Swobodne wypowiedzi uczniowskie w kształceniu literacko-kulturowym (2021). Author of numerous articles on the didactics and methodology of teaching Polish language, as well as literary studies. Co-editor of the multi-author monograph Powrót do ojczyzny? Patriotyzm wobec wyzwań nowych czasów. Kontynuacje i nawiązania (2017; second edition revised and amended 2021) and the journal “Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis. Studia ad Didacticam Litterarum Polonarum et Linguae Polonae Pertinentia”. In 2007–2008, the secretary of the methodological journal “Nowa Polszczyzna”, while from 2017 to 2021 the secretary in “Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis. Studia ad Didacticam Litterarum Polonarum et Linguae Polonae Pertinentia”. He collaborates with various research centres in Poland and abroad (Prague, Olomouc, Vilnius, Zagreb).
