Rekonceptualizacja mechanizmu rozumienia ze słuchu: integracja modelu dwufazowego, modelu trójfazowego oraz pamięci roboczej

Artykuł podejmuje problem inherentnej trudności rozumienia ze słuchu w języku drugim (L2), w szczególności jego nieobserwowalnego charakteru poznawczego, poprzez zaproponowanie zintegrowanego modelu rozumienia ze słuchu. Dotychczasowe badania wypracowały modele dwufazowe (percepcja i rozumienie) oraz modele trójfazowe (percepcja, parsowanie i wykorzystanie), jednak ich fragmentaryczny rozwój doprowadził do niespójności pojęciowej. Aby temu zaradzić, niniejsze badanie integruje te modele, wykorzystując pamięć roboczą jako ramę jednoczącą i uwzględniając kluczowe komponenty, takie jak pętla fonologiczna, centralny system wykonawczy oraz bufor epizodyczny, a także koncepcję percepcyjnych jednostek sensu (PSU). Zaproponowany model wyjaśnia, w jaki sposób bodźce słuchowe są przetwarzane od początkowej percepcji, przez analizę językową, aż do konstrukcji znaczenia na wyższym poziomie, pokazując, że fazy te działają w sposób interaktywny, a nie linearny. Ponadto model zostaje rozszerzony o uwzględnienie wsparcia wizualnego, podkreślając rolę szkicownika wzrokowo-przestrzennego w przetwarzaniu audiowizualnym. Zintegrowane ujęcie dostarcza bardziej spójnego i kompleksowego wyjaśnienia mechanizmów rozumienia ze słuchu oraz oferuje praktyczne implikacje dla nauczania języków obcych, takie jak doskonalenie strategii dydaktycznych i diagnozowanie trudności uczących się. W badaniu wskazano również kierunki dalszych analiz, w tym wpływ pojemności pamięci roboczej oraz bodźców multimodalnych na procesy rozumienia ze słuchu.
