Andrew Innes is a researcher at Mukogawa Women`s University in Japan. His research interests include the use of machine translation in students` work, and how this can help or hinder student development. He studied Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK, and an Msc in Education and Applied Linguistics at The OU in the UK. At present, he is looking into researching the question of commonly made mistakes made by students, and how these can be identified and ameliorated.
